I've been obsessing about styling recently as I find more and more incredible "amateur"photography all over the net with professional looking images.I'm trying to figure out the formula, so to speak, of a balanced, appropriately arranged photo but it isn't as cut and dry as it seems. There are many factors involved in coming up with the right recipe for images that are not too busy or bare, colors that harmonize and a centrality (or not) of the overall composition. The pics above are selections from several stylists with Pat Bates and Associates which I thought are illustrative of several 'styles of styling'.
